Since moving to the Bay Area, I’ve been fortunate to connect with so many wonderful couples, and Sam and Cameron are no exception! Now, let’s talk about that unpredictable weather! I swear, Mother Nature has been keeping me on my toes lately. The forecast showed clear skies earlier in the week, but by Friday night, thunderstorms and lightning were predicted right during our scheduled session. Sam and I were texting back and forth, planning for the worst. We discussed backup options to avoid having to reschedule and looked for covered areas around The Pines Resort. Thankfully, while it poured earlier in the day and just minutes before Sam and Cameron arrived, the skies cleared up for the rest of the evening!

And wow, what a relief! The scenery at The Pines Resort did not disappoint. Bass Lake’s tranquil waters and the surrounding forest made for some of the most beautiful shots I’ve ever captured. Sam and Cameron were such troopers despite their packed schedules. Sam is working on her dissertation in psychology, and Cameron is training to become a police officer in the Bay Area. To top it all off, they’ve been training for the Bass Lake Triathlon, which they completed the morning of our session. Talk about dedication! After conquering the triathlon, they still showed up ready to shine, and their energy was contagious.
