Bobbi & Steven | Bellows Beach Couples Session
This beach themed couples session is personal to me. Steven is the eldest child of close friends of the family, and Bobbi is his longtime girlfriend. I know I am technically not supposed to play favorites, but it’s so hard when it’s people I personally know and love. These two asked me to do a session for them, and of course I said yes. Beautiful couple with epic taste? Heck yeah!!
Steven is active duty military and Bobbi is a teacher. It’s no secret that the military has a way of uprooting your life. What is amazing, is how their partners, spouses, and families voluntarily leave their lives behind to follow their person. That’s exactly what Bobbi is doing. Steven received orders to a ship out here in Honolulu. Bobbi is a school teacher based out of Florida and has said goodbye to everything she knows in FL, and is moving 5,000 miles to be with him.
In order to celebrate this season of their lives, we headed to my favorite beach for a couples session. This beach is the epitome of “hawaii.” The long sandy beach, with teal waters unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and mountains that reign supreme. It’s no wonder this is my favorite spot. As an added bonus, the light here is just about perfect every single time. Rain or shine, this location never ceases to amaze me with its beauty. Though I try, photos do it no justice.
