If Napa Valley is on your list, there are a few details worth understanding early on. Only seven wineries are grandfathered in to legally host both wedding ceremonies and receptions.
In total, Napa Valley has 49 approved wedding venues, which also include resorts, estates, and non-winery properties. This distinction isn’t always obvious early in the planning process, and it often surprises couples who assume most wineries offer full wedding events.
