A Downtown Healdsburg Engagement Session
This Downtown Healdsburg Engagement session is almost a week late due to some technical issues over here at the Campbell house. But better late than never, right?
Isn’t it funny how good beer and food can bring people together? I mean when you think about it, food is what always brings people together. Whether it’s for socializing, celebrating, or simply for pleasure, food & beer has a way of working its magic. And it certainly did just that for Katie & Vinny. Katie & Vinny met while working together at a brewery over 6 years ago. Their mutual love of beer and food is what started the friendship that evolved into the love their friends and family know today.
At the start of their session, I could instantly tell that this was going to be a fun session, and it was! One of the first things I explain to all of my couples is that the first few minutes are supposed to feel awkward. What makes this time of the session fun is when my couple trusts me and just embrace the awkwardness! And that’s exactly what they did.
If it’s been a while since you’ve taken portraits, you may not recall how weird it feels to pose in front of a camera. I usually try to pick a private location so that they can get comfortable before moving onto the next. Well, I found a fantastic location for us to start. Or so I thought. It happened to be a main pathway leading from businesses to the parking lot right around quitting time on a Friday! But you know what?! Vinny & Katie managed it like champs!! This is not an easy thing to do when people are walking through. So so proud of them!
Katie & Vinny, I am so excited to share my favorites with you from your session. I cannot wait for your wedding this June at Mountain House Estates!
Be sure to check out more on the blog!
Cheers,
Kristen
