Style & Education

My style of photography centers around clean light, neutral (and clean) backgrounds, glowy OCF and timeless imagery. Parts of the day are photographed in a documentary style, capturing the events as they unfold. Other parts of the day (getting ready, for example) may need a little more direction to ensure the day is staying on time.

When it comes to education, I have taken every course offered by Katelyn James (including her OCF course), Amy & Jordan, as well as a few independent courses by Jenna Kutcher and Rebecca Rice...What can I say, I am an education junkie!!

I’m Kristen, your new go-to second shooter!

Hi, I'm Kristen and I believe this is the start to a beautiful working relationship. I am a firm believer in being the 2nd shooter that I wish I could have with me every wedding. I am passionate about providing you with images from the wedding (which is a given), some sweet BTS for your insta & website (because I never get those), and representing your brand to the best of my ability. This means, never promoting my services at your events, never following your clients, breaking the 2nd shooter contract, and making sure you are taken care of so you can serve your couple well. I'll make sure you stay hydrated, have eaten (I'll bring extra snacks!), carry your gear, help set up your lights, and assist you throughout the day as needed. In other words, I'm basically your bitch for the day and happy to be so!

My hourly rate was set after carefully calculating costs for my time, experience, and confidence in my ability for what I bring to the table for you and your clients. I'm happy to provide references upon request.
