Diana & Evan first contacted me a few months ago about photographing their wedding at Foxtail Golf Club in Rohnert Park. I talked to them for just over an hour about everything wedding-related the first time […]

Sbragia Vineyard has such a romantic vibe as it is set in the rolling hills of Healdsburg. This made the perfect backdrop for Heidi & Spencer’s dream wedding in front of their families and friends. When I arrived, her hair was getting final touches, and her friends and family were relaxing. Heidi is a chef […]

Being a military spouse, I have had my fair share of having to pick up my business and move it cross-country on 5 different occasions. This last time, I was able nail down the method that seemed to work best for me and my personality. Vendor relationships play the major role in referrals rather than […]

I have a deep love for first looks, but not everyone knows what this is. So, let me explain.. A “first look” is a private moment when the bride and groom see each other for the first time, prior to the ceremony beginning. This usually takes place in a secluded area, sometimes with or without […]

Becoming a second shooter is not for the faint of heart. Being there to capture the love between two people at a wedding is so much more rewarding than you think. However, they aren’t for everyone. Some find the wedding days stressful and filled with lots of pressure. As they should. Weddings aren’t something you […]

It’s not often I get to do an Aulani mini session because so many of my families choose to travel to a more remote part of the island. But my oh my, am I glad we chose this spot for the sweet Lorenzten family of 5. The lagoon with it’s teal waters, the palm trees, […]

With palm trees lining the long white sandy beaches, teal waters, and a mountain backdrop, Ka’a’a’wa Beach is one of those places that you fall in love with as soon as you see it. I know I did. It’s one of those places that scream “Hawai’i” the moment you see it. Maybe that’s why Lexie […]

When Krissy first reached out to me about their family session, she already knew she wanted to have her family session at Lanikai. This beach is special to them because it’s “their beach!” I love when my clients choose locations that mean something to them. A year ago, it was just the two of them […]

I had the honor of traveling back to the mainland for a wedding in Nashville. Nestled in the rolling hills about 90 minutes outside of Nashville sits an open air rustic white chapel. The view is spectacular as it overlooks a creek, hills, and the most beautiful trees. The venue, is Five Star Retreat, and […]

A month ago Ty reached out to plan the perfect surprise proposal to Tay. As we talked, I learned that Tay’s mom and grandma (from here on out, referred to as “Meme”) are super important to her. When they talked in the past about proposals, she always mentioned the same thing…their families MUST be there. […]

Bonnie & Will are expecting their first baby, a boy. What better way is there than to celebrate with once-in-a-lifetime maternity portraits in Oahu? It’s not a secret that Bellows is my favorite beach. It encompasses everything one can think of when it comes to a typical “Hawaiian Beach.” Stretches of long sand with unbelievable […]

Family, sparkles, pasta, buncha crunch...these are a few of my favorite things
Growing up, I always thought I would be a teacher or nurse, or something along those lines since both of those occupations run deep in my family. But, that all changed when I was unexpectedly left without a photographer just 2 days before my own wedding. I knew right then and there that I would do everything in my power to not let another couple feel that same level of stress. For the past 14 years, I have worked to create an environment that allows my clients to actually enjoy their photography experience!
Follow along on the 'gram for insight into my day to day life, and of course all the gorgeous weddings & families I get to capture!
